For 2017 the Club is introducing a ‘Academy’ stream across age groups U9 to U12. The aim of the Academy is to offer support to players with advanced ability and/or an eagerness to improve to get the most out of themselves at New Farm United.
What’s involved in the Academy?
It is expected that the cost of registration for the Academy stream will be around $365 for U9-U11 and $385 (plus Referee fees for the regular season) for U12.
ACADEMY TRIAL DATES:
Session 1 to be held for all age-groups on Monday October 3rd at the Clubhouse. Be there 15 minutes prior to register.
Session times are:
U11 12.00 - 13.00
U12 14.00 - 15.00
Session 2 will be held the following week. Be there 15 minutes prior to register.
U9 Monday Oct 10th 4.30-5.30
U10 Tuesday Oct 11th 4.30 -5.30
U11 Wednesday Oct 12th 4.30-5.30
U12 Thursday Oct 13th. 4.30-5.30
Trophy Day and end of end of season celebration for all teams and their families from U6 upwards. Player trophy presentations from 3.00 pm until 5.00 pm followed by food and drinks until 9.00 pm - jumping castle, pizza, sausage sizzle and bar for the grownups. Every player will receive a participation trophy and team photo. Your team manager will be in touch to confirm your team’s presentation time.

POSITION VACANT - Junior Director of Coaching
New Farm United Soccer Club is an established and rapidly growing Club with the expectation of over of 400 junior players in 2017 across approximately 40 teams from U6-U16. The Club is seeking an experienced and motivated Coach to take on the position of Junior Director of Coaching and become part of our New Farm United football community. The primary role would be to oversee, educate, assist and provide guidance to our pool of enthusiastic volunteer team Coaches. There is also the potential for the role to be expanded to include the development of training manuals for the Coaches; conducting skills clinics; coaching or co-coaching a specific team; or running pre-season training camps and school holiday soccer clinics. There will be a remuneration package attached to this role relative to your experience in coaching and the agreed size and structure of the role. The commencement date of the position is flexible subject to right candidate's availability.
