These age categories are all about having fun and growing a love for the game. Each age group has a slightly progressive format to keep up with how players develop through the age groups. Developing ball control through maximising touches on the ball is the primary focus at this age group.
Coaches at the age categories are generally parent volunteers or older club players that we will require to attend a MiniRoos coaching certificate or internal club coaching days run by the Club Junior Technical Director. This helps standardise the experience and football education all players receive. All coaches will be required to provide a blue card upon commencement.
Players will train on Tuesdays or Thursdays (4:00pm-5:00pm) for a period of 45 mins with their coach and run under the supervision of the club’s junior technical director.
Fixtures will be played on Saturday Mornings (games will be scheduled between 8:00am – 10:30am). All fixtures will be held at New Farm Park as an internal competition meaning they only play games against other New Farm United teams (no travel required).
In House Competition:
Register Online: New Farm United operates a Three Tier registration system where you register with the Club and with the National and State Registration Systems. Registration and Payment for Football Australia are done through the Play Football platform. Registration and Payment for Football Queensland are done through the Squadi platform. Registering in both platforms is compulsory.
Registering with Squadi ensures 12 month insurance coverage for the player. If a player does not complete this component they will not be covered should any injury occur throughout the season.

The club has an agreement with Statewide Sports as our official merchandise and football equipment supplier. All players are required to play in appropriate branding (particularly shorts & socks) with all equipment available for purchase from the Club’s Uniform Shop.
Players must be registered and fully paid before they are able to participate in any competition. New Farm United does operate a no refund policy, once registrations have been processed there will be no refunds unless approved by Committee. All players who register with New Farm will be given a team placement. Please note that if a player for some reason is not able to be offered a team placement in their age group, then a full refund will be provided.
All players (U6-Seniors) are required to purchase a club playing shorts and club playing socks which are available through the Club Uniform Shop. Club Polo and/or Training Shirt is recommended but optional and also available to be purchased through the Club Uniform Shop.
