These age categories are all about having fun and growing a love for the game. Each age group has a slightly progressive format to keep up with how players develop through the age groups. Developing ball control through maximising touches on the ball is the primary focus at this age group.
Coaches at the age categories are generally parent volunteers that we will require to attend a MiniRoos coaching certificate before the season commences. This helps standardise the experience and football education all players receive. Kits and apparel can be purchased from the club shop (in the clubhouse). See our online guide to what kit requirements are for these age categories.
Matches run between 8.30am and midday Saturday morning always at New Farm Park. Any paid coaches are all vetted by the club and receive on going in house training throughout the season, as well as a Blue Card. The training times depend on field space and coach availability. Teams usually train once a week.
The competition the teams play in is internal, meaning they only play home games against other New Farm United teams.
